What's happening to KoGaMa?
We're shutting down the current KoGaMa website and game servers. Everything tied to the KoGaMa website will go offline on May 29th at the latest. The social media channels will stick around for posting nostalgic KoGaMa content. KoGaMa isn't ending though — we're rebuilding it from the ground up.
Why now? Why so sudden?
The decision came together quickly and even surprised us internally. But sometimes that's how it goes. The good news: this shutdown is what makes room for the next KoGaMa.
What happens to my account, games, items, and avatars?
The KoGaMa website, accounts, and all user-generated content will go offline on May 29th. We'll retain encrypted backups for legal reasons, but data won't be migrated to the new platform. If you want to keep anything (screenshots, links, etc.), save them before that date.
What about my Gold and Elite subscription?
Anyone who purchased Gold within the last week, or who has more than two weeks of Elite subscription remaining, will be refunded. Refunds are processed automatically — no action needed.
When will the new KoGaMa launch?
The team is hard at work building it. We don't have a public date yet, but we'll send updates as the launch gets closer. Sign up above to be the first to know.
Will the new KoGaMa be similar to the old one?
It's KoGaMa at heart — bigger, cooler, and with much more to offer for both players and creators. We'll share more as we get closer to launch.
